Stephanie Leppert

Outreach & Advocacy Associate

Stephanie has been spreading joy at DSACO since 2019, literally, as she is the one who makes sure more than 1,200 birthday cards get sent to members with Down syndrome each year! She’s also a passionate advocate, speaking up and showing up at the local, state, and federal levels to make sure voices are heard. She also contributes her experience and voice to several committees, including the Consumer Advisory Committee (CAC), ElevateDD Public Policy Committee, the Supported Decision Making Network of Ohio (SDMNO), DSACO’s Adult Conference Planning Committee, and the Ohio Community of Practice: Supporting Families of People with Developmental Disabilities.

When she’s not busy with DSACO work projects, you’ll likely find her bowling or playing cornhole with Worthington Special Olympics, reading with friends at her Next Chapter Book Club, or jumping into DSACO activities like cooking class, stamping club, and improv.

Stephanie lives in Worthington with her roommate, Allie. She enjoys spending time with her family, visiting her brother, Christian, and his family in South Carolina, as well as her sister, Madeline, her family, and her mom in Ohio. She loves dancing, traveling, reading, shopping, and singing, and she’s always up for anything fun!
