Serra joined the ElevateDD team as HR Manager in April 2024. The primary responsibilities of the HR Manager include providing oversight for all HR operations, shaping and maintaining company culture, and implementing policies and organizational strategies. 

Serra earned her bachelor's degree at Ohio State University and then went on to obtain her master's degree at Miami University. She has spent the majority of her career in the nonprofit space, working to support and manage progressive transformational process changes for organizations. She is passionate about advocating for innovative and inclusive workplace practices and believes that maintaining a healthy workplace culture that encourages employees to grow and thrive enables an organization to more successfully achieve its mission. 

Outside of work Serra enjoys outdoor activities such as gardening to support native plant and animal species, hiking and camping with her dogs, and kayaking. She also enjoys a variety of creative pursuits such as painting, restoring antiques, and crafting.
