Julia Lane

Family Coordinator

Julia joined the Learning Aid Ohio team in 2021 and currently serves as the Family Coordinator. In this role, she primarily supports families throughout the application process, helps them navigate the ElevateDD Learner platform, and works closely with them to address questions or needs as they arise.

She brings over 20 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, where she worked with pediatric and neurologically involved patients to help them reach their strength, mobility, and functional goals.

For the past 19 years, Julia has also been deeply involved with the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio (DSACO). She has served as team captain for her son’s Buddy Walk team, attended countless events, and previously volunteered with the Medical Edge program.

Julia is passionate about creating opportunities for learners with IEPs to grow, thrive, and succeed both in school and in everyday life through the support Learning Aid Ohio provides.

Outside of work, she enjoys crafting, spending time outdoors with her family, and keeping up with the many activities and sporting events of her three boys.
