Jennifer Franklin Kearns is passionate about using storytelling, connection, and advocacy to encourage and advance inclusive opportunities for people with developmental disabilities. As Communications Manager for ElevateDD, she leads external messaging and content strategy to amplify voices, build awareness, and deepen partnerships across Ohio. 

Prior to joining ElevateDD, Jen served as Director of Membership & Outreach at the Ohio Pharmacists Association, where she shaped communications campaigns, expanded member engagement, and strengthened coalition-building efforts. Earlier in her career, she worked in social media analytics and communications roles, honing her skills in audience insights, digital storytelling, and content optimization. 

Jen holds a degree from The Ohio State University and draws on her deep belief that authentic inclusion requires listening, elevating marginalized stories, and creating space for everyone to be seen. Outside of work, she is an advocate and champion for disability rights and is deeply committed to serving the community through volunteer roles. She enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with family and friends. A longtime Buddy Walk team captain and fundraiser, she brings both personal and professional passion to her work.
