Boo Krucky
Program Coordinator of Teen & Adult Services
Boo (Elizabeth) Krucky is Program Coordinator of Teen & Adult Services
For DSACO. She first came to Columbus as a computer programmer in the late 80s but quickly realized she felt much more alive when she was volunteering with adults with developmental disabilities. So, she switched careers and never looked back! After more than three decades with Goodwill Columbus helping adults with developmental disabilities live fuller lives, she joined the small but mighty DSACO team in 2022.
At DSACO, Boo keeps busy coordinating a mix of programs for teens, adults, and those who care for them, including virtual cooking classes and improv to caregiver groups and the Adult Conference. She loves seeing people connect, grow, and feel supported through these activities.
Outside of work, Boo, her husband, Ryan, and their dog, Gizmo, recently relocated to Athens, where they can step right outside for mountain biking and hiking adventures. She’s a lifelong learner who’s always listening to nonfiction audiobooks or diving into podcasts, and she is happiest when her varied interests overlap.
Her passion for the Down syndrome community is lifelong; her sister, Lyn, was born with Down syndrome in 1971, making this work both personal and joyful for her.
