Carey Eash 

Vice President 

Carey Eash serves as Vice President of the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio (DSACO), part of the ElevateDD family of communities. In this role, she provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for DSACO’s programs, staff, and community engagement initiatives. 

With more than 20 years of experience in social services, education, and disability advocacy, Carey brings both professional expertise and personal passion to her work. Her career has spanned roles in special education, trauma-informed counseling, child welfare, and nonprofit leadership. At DSACO, she is known for fostering cross-sector partnerships, advancing program innovation, and cultivating strong, values-driven teams that deliver meaningful community impact. 

Her educational background includes a Master of Social Work from UCLA, graduate studies in Special Education at Azusa Pacific University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. 

Driven by a deep belief in belonging and possibility, Carey leads with empathy and collaboration, grounded in the conviction that every person deserves a lifetime of opportunity and connection. 

Carey and her husband, Ben, live in Westerville with their five children: Madi, Luke, Levi, and twins Olivia (who has Down syndrome) and Judah.
